Telescope Of Increasing Size Placement Analyzer

Simulate the process of building out a large radio telescope array bymanaging funding and placing telescopes.Telescope placement pattern is of paramount importance, and many tools are provided to understand the ramifications of a particular placement. The primary placement criteria is to have more telescopes in the array. Secondarily, it's optimal to achieve an even mix of distances between the placed telescopes (refer to fig 1, distance line). Tertiarily, each telescope (and the array itself) should be placed so as to minimize radio frequency interference from nearby ground-based sources (see fig 2, sample points on the terrain). The quaternary criteria is to achieve a gaussian distribution of distances between telescopes (refer to fig 1, histogram).

TerraForm

Two players (aliens) moving in an orbit around the sun trying to "form" the earth by grabbing objects floating around space and slinging it into an orbiting asteroid between them and the sun. Eventually the "earth" will form and the person that forms it becomes the good guy slinging "good objects" at it to make it develop life and the bad guy will sling (the other player) "bad objects" towards the "earth" to try and destroy it / break it down.

Build antennae and satellites to research the stars. You can spend research points to increase tech levels, which will allow you to build more advanced devices.

Close Encounters of the Galactic Kind

The player guides a civilization, expanding through inhabiting and terraforming different planets long enough to communicate with others. The L factor will be large. Maintaining communication standards across time is an issue. This team chose to prototype a game. They made a video description of the game and that's what we have uploaded.

EQUILIBRIUM

The goal of the game is to achieve equilibrium by acquiring civilization-developing and peace-achieving technology from intelligent beings that have evolved in different star systems around the universe. You achieve the goal by searching the stars, sending messages, and making contact, provoking the exchange of technologies.

Introduction
Welcome to the wonderful Milky Way Galaxy… with its eight spiraling arms. Nearly at the end of the Sagittarius Arm is the great Eagle Nebula… an extremely active celestial star-nursery that creates light (STARS) to illuminate this part of the universe. You, a native Nebulan, a star-maker named Starius Nubi, will leave home and accidently end up in the outer Solar System, and will have a magnificent journey exploring the planets, the moons, the civilizations and the battles that make this system fascinating, elite and quite popular with Foreign Aliens, which are EBE’s from outside the system.

This game is about searching the galaxy for intelligent life. The player sends out a signal that scans stars to find planets, and then scan their planets for life. This game replicates a slow, methodical approach to data mining.
